A large midwest agency improved interview outcomes with Science-Based Interviewing (SBI) on violent crimes (homicide, sex crimes, child abuse, and non-fatal shootings). The use of science-based techniques is associated with greater cooperation, information disclosure, and admissions/confessions (other trainings cannot say this, in fact they hurt information-gathering endeavors). It is time for an investigative upgrade.
Led by a law enforcement officer expert with over 26 years of experience in investigating and leading, criminal investigations (homicide, sex crimes, non-fatal shootings, gang crimes), and officer-involved incidents where getting the information right is paramount.
